Obsidian flesh tank
What is the best build for an obsidian flesh tank. I have tried out a few different skills but just have not found the sweet spot.

Obsidian Flesh tank just sucks. Go Primary Elementalist.

I use...
Obsidian Flesh
Dolyak Signet
Endure Pain
Stoneflesh Aura
Endure Pain
Glyph of Concentration
Wary Stance
Lightbringer's Gaze or Resurrection Signet (depending where you are, of course)

What in the??
Okay.. if you say so.
*Makes party*
*let the eles tank with the earth ench*
*mobs use ench removal*
*ele dies*
*warrior was dmg build-up*
*monk dies*
*party dies*
*party blames the warrior*
Warriors are the only class that do not need enchs to tank, armor bonus like WY Doy and DP and stances that have "no" CD are all you need.
Get real.

Tanking is stupid.
Obsidian Flesh tanking is done with an Elementalist, who can chain Obsidian Flesh and use Earth armor buffs. No enchant removal via Obsidian Flesh is win...unless, of course, you get a Chilblains in your face...

well all of your questions have been answered Pan Head.
I shall now tell you that Warriors should not "Tank" ever. Ever.
Dealing damage? Tick
Taking damage? Sure, high AL means they are naturally resistant to attacks. And hell you can even bring Watch Yourslef in PvE as this is a very nice skill to bring. But focuss your building around dealing damage. Not Tanking.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about DoA, where tanking is in fact a viable option. I don't know if anyone's come up with a decent team builds that doesn't utilize a tank of some sort (haven't done DoA since the week it was released), but previously a Obs Flesh tank was pretty much a given.

Problem is, the Obs Flesh tank is an Elementalist, not a Warrior.

EDIT: Obsidian Flesh tanks are not elementalists (well, not in DoA anyway), they are warriors, because you need more than just Obsidian Flesh, you need Dolyak Signet too.

Nibiru, don't get involved unless you know what you're talking about.
I have seen W/E successfully tank in DoA, although I'm not sure how it compares to a E/*. It can work though.
